well, there is a hard hold built in, and it actually allows to play the synth on top over it ;)

In the REMOTE tab:
- set the autohold level to +30db so that it don't trigger on velocity.
- now hitting the hold button will freeze the current synthsignal. you can tie a CC to this hold button.
- if you set decay to 30 sec, it will be infinite.

Note: It takes some practice to make a nice soft hold signal, to be able to play lead etc over it.

CAUTION: ** The REMOTE tab sliders cause occaisonal crashes in version 1.2.4. when incoming CC's are connected.
This is allready fixed here at the lab, and will be relased with next update

Would it be possible to have another hold mode, like the EHX freeze?
To be able to play on top.
Or is it too cpu draining?

The settings are the same
iOS audio, 256 ( I've tried all )
No test tone from SG with the iPad.
(And that should work in any case.)

I'll try with apple inear with microphone to make sure it's not the input on the iPad but it's worked prior and I've not noticed anything weird using headphones without the microphone.

And it's working fine with the Itrack dock at a lower latency 128.

But not on my iPad 5th gen.
Weird sound almost like phase cancellation.
Sound goes in and out according to the meters.
Both are running iOS 15.6.1
that's weird!
Is there no dry/wet on your irig?
plug in or standalone?
what are the interface settings?

There is a bug in startup, which might occur when the attack ( on the first row ) is not zero in the first patch loaded.
and a second bug when remote midi automation is enabled.
Both are fixed here at my lab, but I need to doublecheck everything before releasing, might take a few days.

Quote from: Paul Driessen on Sep 16, 2022, 12:16 PMSG does not feature master/override settings: you can however allways override everything with host automation.
this means that the host (e.g. AUM) can set the Pitch and Octave parameters (as well as all other parameters..)
inside SG, the logic is based on presets, analog to normal guitar multifx pedals.

I am going to try it out, sounds like  that is just what I needed. Thanks !

I'm having some crashes during startup, not when it's running.
iPad 5th gen. Focusrite Itrack dock.

Also the screen locks.
Do I need to disable that in iPad settings ? Not a biggie but
Using GarageBand, jamup or any other audio app I don't have this issue.

the idea is to save the patches to a user preset, so you only need to change them once.
1) clicking on the patchname below  brings you to the patch manager
2) click "save as..". Now you can save the factory patch into a userpreset.
You can see 2 preset tabs, FACTORY and USER.  So you can pick up a factory preset and gather the m in your user area, with everything you like to change saved along.

Thanks, yes that is how I started doing it but it got very lengthy, so now I am just using an external pitch  shifting plugin.
