Irig 1 is working perfectly with SG on my 2016 iPhone SE
But not on my iPad 5th gen.
Weird sound almost like phase cancellation.
Sound goes in and out according to the meters.
Both are running iOS 15.6.1

that's weird!
Is there no dry/wet on your irig?
plug in or standalone?
what are the interface settings?

The settings are the same
iOS audio, 256 ( I've tried all )
No test tone from SG with the iPad.
(And that should work in any case.)

I'll try with apple inear with microphone to make sure it's not the input on the iPad but it's worked prior and I've not noticed anything weird using headphones without the microphone.

And it's working fine with the Itrack dock at a lower latency 128.

I'm not sure what's happening.
I've tried it with apple phone/microphone and with those I get a test tone
but I'm not sure where the input is coming from.
The built in or the microphone/headphones.
This might be a iOS 15 iPad related issue.
I'll try something else and report back.
iOS audio has imho gotten worse with updates....

Looked it up, and I think I know what the problem is..
the irig 1 is not a real audiointerface. It uses the mike input from your phones audio jack.
it will cause feedback (which is most likely the phasing you referred to) and bad sound with SG, and with any app that uses high gain.

No that's not it, no feedback.
It has worked fine with all the audio apps on this iPad before and it works fine with the Space Guitar on the iPhone. Great sound on the iPhone.
It's something else that's wrong.
I've seen threads about stuff like this after update to iOS 14 and 15.
So I'll search on

ok thanks, please keep me informed about this!
For now I think it hasn't got anything to do with SG, but it is ofcourse important to know what's going on..

I think you're correct it's not SG , it seems to be a common issue after update.
I now confirmed that the input is coming from the built in microphone even when the headset (or irig) is connected.
